Small Town/Bold Vision

Richland, Missouri

Over the past decade, millennials have flocked from big cities to smaller towns for a variety of reasons.  While housing prices and the cost of goods have steadily increased, wages have not. Traffic, long commutes, and lack of “community” make relocating to small towns from cities such as St. Louis, Chicago, or New York appealing. Young adults are swarming to more rural and suburban areas in search of affordable housing, peace of mind, and open spaces.

Richland, Missouri is such a place.

Richland Community Development Corporation (RCDC) partners with others to spread the word that Richland is open for business, families, and visitors. Business Buzz is where you can check out stories about recent startups as well as entrepreneurs who have operated for decades in local, national, even global markets.
